We hope you enjoyed the hot summer and are ready for fall. It has been a while since you've heard from us, but we’ve been busy here at Gg! Here’s our latest update and what to expect in the months ahead…
Over the last several months we have expanded our team with two five star professionals. Stephanie Kelley came on board as Director of Client Experiences in May. Stephanie is a Vanderbilt grad and brings her Buffalo Trace experience, which is great for our bourbon stash 😊. Trey Thieneman is the newest addition to the team and joined us as the Director of Family Office Services in September. Trey is a CPA comes with a plethora of financial experience from UPS, Humana, and Premier Packaging. Please join us in welcoming both Stephanie and Trey to the Gg Team!
Given the market growth, especially in large cap tech over the last few years, we are actively rebalancing client portfolios as needed. We are making sure that every client(and every single account) is adequately diversified and properly aligned with your goals and timeframes. In some cases, we have added to international and small cap weightings, which have been underweight due to market performance, while taking profits in large cap tech and growth. In others, we are replenishing adequate emergency savings and bucket 1 holdings for near term cash needs and upcoming expenses. As always, we are looking for opportunities to strategically reduce debt.
We have had a summer full of annual reviews and check-ins with our clients. Our primary area of focus, especially given the last few years, is risk mitigation and “fixing the roof while the sun is shining”. We are reviewing areas of weakness in financial plans as it relates to unforeseen events, health, life complexity, portfolio allocation, liquidity, capital needs, and overall debt. By addressing these areas and providing solutions, our goal is for you to spend more time (and money) on the people and experiences that matter most, without worry.
As we head into fall, we’ll provide you insights on tax planning tips as well as what to expect in 2026 based on the new bills enacted this year coming out of congress. Based on your feedback from the Gg client survey, we’ll will have consistent cadence of communication to you. This will consist of a quarterly newsletter and updates about what our team is reading and listening to you that we feel is interesting or relevant to our clients. When things get rocky, as we know they always do from time to time, we’ll speak directly to those circumstances and situations and help guide you through it, just like we have in the past.
You receive the most value from us by meeting to revisit your plan. So, if you have not yet met with us, let’s get a meeting in the books for either a 30 minute check in or an annual review.
As always, we are here to help and value the trust you have in our team!
Thank you and have a great weekend,
